Psalms 77:7-9

7 “Will the Lord ^aspurn forever,
and never again ^bbe favorable?
8 Has his steadfast love forever ceased?
Are his ^cpromises at an end for all time?
9 ^dHas God forgotten to be gracious?
^eHas he in anger shut up his compassion?” Selah

Psalms 85:5

5 ^fWill you be angry with us forever?
Will you prolong your anger to all generations?

Psalms 103:8-9

8 The Lord is ^gmerciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
9 ^hHe will not always chide,
nor will he ⁱkeep his anger forever.

Isaiah 57:16

16 ^jFor I will not contend forever,
